ABOUT the Author(s)
B.B. Cantwell is the pen name for the wife-and-husband writing team of Barbara and Brian Cantwell, who collaborated on the bookmobile trilogy between 2005 and 2020.
Barbara Cantwell

The delightful inspiration for these bookmobile mysteries, Barbara was among the last librarians to serve aboard Portland, Oregon's last operating bookmobile. When a new library director canceled the service, Barbara decided to murder her -- in print. Barbara retired from Suzzallo Library at the University of Washington in 2018. She died of breast cancer in 2021, four months after publication of "Iced, With Sprinkles."
Brian Cantwell

A retired Seattle Times travel editor, Brian previously wrote for a Portland-area newspaper while he and his family lived on a sailboat on the Columbia River -- with a Maine Coon cat named Bingle T. He now lives in the cabin he shared with Barbara in Washington's San Juan Islands, and is working to finish a fourth and final bookmobile mystery that the pair began before Barbara's passing.
